METAL CHURCH: In Recording Mode
October 24, 2003Long-running Seattle metallers METAL CHURCH have entered the studio to begin recording the follow-up to 1999's "Masterpeace", tentatively due in early 2004. The group's current lineup includes original members Kurdt Vanderhoof (guitar) and Kirk Arrington (drums) alongside three new members, including vocalist Ronny Munroe, who had most recently spent time in the Seattle metal band ROTTWEILLER. More information about the group's forthcoming CD is expected soon. In the meantime, you can hear a sample of Munroe's voice — whose delivery is described as a cross between Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio — by checking out a song he recorded for a video game demo.
